School Feeding Programme


Different forms of School feeding programme have been adopted in many countries throughout the world for the purpose of fighting short-term hunger in classrooms. The School Feeding Programme is a goal-oriented initiative to support good education by providing and serving healthy meals to children for the same purpose of preventing hunger while learning at school.


Good education is the key to success for child and thus, we focus our core competencies on building a sustainable program for the health and mental benefit of the children we serve.


Feeding Menu

We provide a rotating menu of nutritionally fortified foods that are delicious and familiar to the children. Each meal provides the child with a full range of macro and micro-nutrients, vitamins and minerals.





Rice

Rice can serve as a good source of B vitamins, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, fiber, and iron. Rice is also an excellent source of manganese and magnesium.

Beans

Beans provide protein, fiber, folate, iron, potassium and magnesium while containing little or no total fat, trans-fat, sodium and cholesterol.

Chicken

Chicken is rich in many vitamins and minerals essential for human health and is a good food choice for dieters as well as for every children.

Fish

Fish is a low-fat high quality protein. Fish is filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2 (riboflavin).

Banana

One serving of banana is considered to be about 126 grams. One serving of banana contains 110 calories, 30 grams of carbohydrate and 1 gram of protein. Bananas are naturally free of fat, cholesterol, and sodium

Watermelon

Watermelon also contains citrulline, an amino acid that may increase nitric oxide levels in the body. Nitric oxide helps your blood vessels expand, which lowers blood pressure.
