Zero Hunger

The promise of our hard work is to protect school children from hunger challenges and provide them with nutritious meals every week. It takes donors who believe in the cause, partners who pool their resources and expertise, alongside volunteers, to work together for great change. It takes compassion to help these little ones.

OUR STORY

Compassion Precedes Action

Bethsaida Foundation exists to end child hunger in public schools. It is the cause upon which it was founded and of that which we will continue to fight for. When children are well-fed, they are more likely to prevail in education, progressing from grade to grade. A hungry child does not grow mentally, and cannot learn effectively.

Bethsaida Foundation launched operations fully in October 2018 and has consistently given wholesome, cooked meals on rotation, twice a week every week, to 3 Public Primary Schools in GRA Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. Our goal is to ensure that no child ever has to worry about food while learning, thus enhancing their attentive sensitivity and overall quality of learning experience. Our 1-year goal is to provide lunch meals, 3 times a week, to 10 Public Primary Schools in Lagos State, Nigeria with the commitment to expand to every Public Primary School in Lagos State and across Nigeria, over time.
